WINDOWS 10 AND INTEL GEN 6 LAUNCH

The Challenge

In 2015, Intel announced the launch of its 6th generation chip set to be supplied in the full line-up of the 2016 Windows OS devices, from mobile to desk-top, featuring the soon-to-be released new Windows 10. The tandem release announcements from the technology giants commanded an all-inclusive, involved, cohesive advertising campaign. An undertaking of such magnitude could not be accomplished by a single agency, Microsoft and Intel called upon the collaboration of a variety of specialty consultancies to get the job done. Lauded for their B2B communication strategies and iconography work, Red Sky was approached to develop solutions tailored to their expertise.

OUR Solution
Our long standing relationship with Microsoft, and prior success in our part in the Windows 7 and 8 launches, facilitated our role in quickly adapting to and developing with Intel's precise requirements. The resulting collateral translated and augmented the comprehensive customer-facing Intel style guide into a cohesive series of intra-company communications and design guidelines. In addition, we enhanced their existing asset library with refreshed and new iconography. Intel's reception of the initial designs and the ease of working with Red Sky prompted future engagements.
